Week two is in full swing! Seems like some of my predictions are right on.
'NCIS' killed it again with an average of 20.5m viewers. 'NCIS: Los Angeles' 17.42m viewers. CBS dominated the night and won viewers by approx 8.73M viewers and 29% among adults 18-49. This from a network that is on the bankruptcy watch list. I don't think so! CBS should be just fine.
That means that 'The Good Wife' also did well with 13.38M viewers. That is just ... Read More

So, last night I was eagerly awaiting the new show 'Trauma'. I was extremely pumped about it's premiere since I had seen the promo video circling the net this past summer. Last night it averaged 6.9M viewers with a 2.4/6 in the every important 18-49 category. That made it the fourth place show after 'Two and a Half Men' , 'Dancing With the Stars' , and 'Lie To Me'. Those numbers also landed it on the loser ... Read More

Sunday kicked off the season premiere of 'The Amazing Race' with a two hour installment. It averaged approx 10.79M viewers. I love the new cast of racers but, it's still too early to tell who is going to be my favorite and who I'm going to find annoying and so on. I think it's hysterical that the two cute brothers from Missouri are both gay and that the two poker players have been flirting with them the entire time. Boy, ... Read More

Okay, it's time to analyze the first full premiere week of TV. But first, I need to comment on what I thought of the shows I still had left to watch
I did watch 'Mercy' on NBC. My mother had emailed me asking me what I thought about it. She felt that 'Mercy' had too similar a character formula as Hawthorne (TNT) and that it was a cheesy version of it. While both shows do have similar characters; the aggressive nurse, ... Read More
The move to CBS for 'Medium' turns out to be a good thing as the pairing with 'Ghost Whisperer' looks to be a winner, at least by Friday night ratings standards. 'Ghost Whisperer' averaged 8.58M viewers and 'Medium' did even stronger at 8.7M viewers. I'm happy , as I was worried about 'Medium' and the move to not only another network but to Friday nights, known in the industry as the death slot. It's one of the few ... Read More

Yes, this blog is so very late. I was busy all day and had no time but, I had been itching too all day and trying to figure out when I was going to get to it. I had a meeting for the Board that I am a member of locally and for which I maintain a blog at here. It's a fun thing I do for a local not for profit. I get to interview all the amazing musicians ... I have never watched the 'NCIS' shows and perhaps I should start. Wow, the ratings for it are through the roof! 'NCIS' averaged 20M viewers and 'NCIS: Los Angeles' averaged 18.32M. Wow. I'll need to re-think how I'm going to fit these two shows on my DVR Schedule (right not it conflicts with Biggest Loser, Hell's Kitchen, 90210 & Melrose Place and Shark Tank and I'm sure something else... hmmm..
I did have a chance to watch 'The Good Wife' this ... Read More

I must first start by saying how last nights 'House' episode was the best one yet. All season last year (well all previous seasons as well) was most definitely leading up to some sort of House meltdown. Sure enough at the end of last season we found House checking himself into a mental institution.
So, naturally, the season opener finds House in said institution. I so enjoyed his resistance and yes, typical snarkiness. There was no medical ... Read More
