Week two of ‘V’ has seen a 29% decrease in viewers 18-49 with 10.56M viewers and a 3.7/10 rating. It came in #2 after NCIS. It’s still on the map, that’s the good thing. We’ll have to wait and see where it lands in week 3 to see if it has found it’s level of interest. According to tvbythenumbers.com it is the biggest % drop in a second airing episode for a new show this season. It’s level off number might not be known until this spring. The cancel index for ABC is 2.7 and since it has received a 3.7, it’s still a hit.
In other TV news ‘Dollhouse’ was finally canceled. Seriously, I don’t know why it was renewed in the first place.
‘Melrose Place’ is still doing poorly in the ratings, but next week we see the return of Heather Locklear. It will be interesting to see what that does for the ratings.
This is a short and sweet blog today, but I did want to share the news about ‘V’s rating. Here’s hoping it has hit it’s level and doesn’t drop further in week 3!
