Well, I was happily surprised when this morning, upon turning on my TV and looking at my play list, I saw 'Trauma' listed. I thought I would never see them again.. well at least not to "burn off" season. Does this mean that it wasn't yet officially cancelled? Because, it's certainly not the time of year where they burn things off, if you know what I mean.

Week two of 'Trauma' on NBC , despite my hopes, performed even more disappointing then it did on it's opening night. It dropped by 1.19M viewers to 5.49M and 18% in the 18-49 demo. That is at the high end of the 10 - 20% range expected in the second week for new shows. Considering it was off to a low start, that is not good news. It is most likely now on the fall season fatality list.

So, last night I was eagerly awaiting the new show 'Trauma'. I was extremely pumped about it's premiere since I had seen the promo video circling the net this past summer. Last night it averaged 6.9M viewers with a 2.4/6 in the every important 18-49 category. That made it the fourth place show after 'Two and a Half Men' , 'Dancing With the Stars' , and 'Lie To Me'. I must first start by saying how last nights 'House' episode was the best one yet. All season last year (well all previous seasons as well) was most definitely leading up to some sort of House meltdown. Sure enough at the end of last season we found House checking himself into a mental institution.
