I was completely bummed when I saw the headline that Maura Tierney had to drop out of 'Parenthood' .  It was  originally supposed to start airing at the first half of the fall season and was postponed due to her illness ('Mercy' is premiering in it's place). All in all, the summer season was a pretty good one. But nothing, NOTHING compares to the anticipation of the new Fall Season with our returning favorites and the list of new shows coming this Fall. My next blog will have a run down of them all.. dates, times, channels for the ever important DRV coordination that is essential to making sure that you are able to record all the shows you really really want to see.

To all 'Saving Grace' fans; the show, starring Holly Hunter , will air it's final episodes next summer. It normally runs a 15 episode split season, with 9 to run this winter and 6 the following summer. I have been watching 'I'm a Celebrity' although not with any regularity. It's more like when I have nothing else to watch I'll watch it. I am interested in how it all ends, so that is what is keeping me slightly interested. TNT's Closer had a great opening this past Monday, according to news on THR.com. 'Raising the Bar', however, dropped 53%. Uh oh. I really do like' Raising the Bar'.
